I’m really excited to announce I’ve been working with Fat Olives, one of Emsworth’s leading restaurants, to bring a touch of my locally inspired artwork to their dining room this summer. On Tuesday 5th July you are invited to the restaurant to view my latest work, with a glass of wine and maybe a fat olive or two.
The collaboration with Julia and Laurence Murphy, owners of Fat Olives, came out of their adoption of me during The Emsworth Arts Trail. We recognised we were both dedicated to creating original work inspired by our local environment, taking local ingredients (or scenes) and adding our own contemporary twist. The Murphy’s are great supporters of local artisans, producers and business, so I hope my work will create an environment that reflects their dedication and passion.
Many new pieces of work will be on display including a selection of coastal scenes, new Emsworth Deck Houses and Slipper Pond mono prints. I will also have some giclee prints and cards available for sale on the night.
The restaurant is located at 30 South Street, Emsworth. You are welcome to join us for a preview drink between 6.30 pm – 7.30 pm.
It would be helpful if you could RSVP for numbers.
