About Me

All original and hand printed, my screenprints and monoprints are mainly influenced by the local landscape and memories of growing up by the seaside. By hand printing the images, the ink sits above the paper to give an intensity and tactile feel not achieved by commercial printing methods.  Some of my images have also been professionally reproduced as limited edition signed giclée prints; please take look at my shop.

I originally trained as a teacher of creative arts and maths at University.  I then went on to work in Public Relations and Marketing Communications, often using creative solutions, branding and imagery for clients. Four years ago I completed a City & Guilds in Printmaking at the WEA Centre in Portsmouth and have been learning and experimenting with printmaking techniques ever since.
