Nutbourne Marshes Original Monoprint

Description

An abstract sea scape of the marshes across Nutbourner. Oil based printing inks are applied using a roller onto an acetate plate. Colours are mixed and applied in a painterly way – similar to oil paining. Once the image is complete the plate is positioned on the printer bed, damp paper placed on top and rolled through the etching press to create a one off print.

The original printed image is 30 cm x 30 cm, in its frame with a mount the overall size is 48 cm x 48 cm.  Presented in a white wooden contemporary frame.
